Alpengasthaus Gleinserhof

The Alpengasthaus Gleinserhof on 1,420 m is one of the traditional mountain inns of the Stubaital – businesses with history, which the Stubaital already knew when the term “tourism” was not yet invented. The Gleinserhof is a family-run business, which has been welcoming guests for generations.

Location and Atmosphere

The mountain inn is located in a pleasant location in the Stubaital, embedded in the slope terrain with a view of the valley. The building itself has the character of an authentic Tyrolean farm inn – massive wooden construction, flowerpots in front of the windows, the patina of decades of operation.

The atmosphere is heartfelt and down-to-earth. It is not staged for Instagram, but for guests who return.

Kitchen and Offer

The kitchen of the Gleinserhof is based on traditional Tyrolean grounds: Gröstl, Kaserspätzle, Schnitzel, soups and pastries. The evening menu goes beyond the lunch offer. The long opening hours (up to 20 hours) make the inn attractive for evening meals after long hiking days.

For children, there are special dishes available. The terrace invites you to linger.

Arrival / Ascent

Accessible from the villages in the Stubaital on well-marked paths, ascent takes about 30 to 60 minutes. The Gleinserhof is also close by via a forest road.
