Stubaital with Your Dog
The Stubaital is dog-friendly — on many trails and huts, four-legged companions are warmly welcome. Here you find everything for a relaxed outing with your dog.
Important Notes
- 🐄Livestock: Cattle and sheep graze in the Stubaital. Always keep dogs on a leash near livestock — even well-trained dogs can startle animals.
- 🚧Cattle grids: Some trails have cattle grids. Carry small dogs across if needed.
- 🏠Huts: Not every hut allows dogs inside — outside is usually fine. If unsure, just ask.
- 💧Water: Plenty of streams along the way — enough drinking water for your dog.
