Karalm Runde Stubaital: easy family-friendly hike, 7 km, 350 m elevation gain in the quiet Oberbergtal – with stop at the Karalm, dog-friendly, starting from Car Park Oberbergtal.

The Karalm Runde takes you through the quietest of the Stubaital side valleys – the Oberbergtal. 7 km, 350 m elevation gain, a family-friendly hike with stop at the Karalm and views of the 3,000-metre peaks of the Stubai Main Ridge. No cable car, no ski resort, no hustle and bustle. The Oberbergtal is the Stubaital for everyone looking for the authentic experience.

Why this tour?

The Oberbergtal is less well-known than the Pinnistal and much quieter than the southern glacier area. The Karalm lies halfway down the valley – far enough for an alpine feel, close enough for families with children. The route on two different paths provides a change of scenery.

This tour is ideal for the first day in Stubaital or for anyone who needs a relaxing day after a strenuous tour.
