Stockerhof

Stockerhof at 1.196 m is one of the most accessible mountain lodges in the lower Stubaital. With a season that begins as early as April, and opening hours until 20 Uhr, the Stockerhof is open to a broad range of visitors – from spring hiking to an evening meal after a long hiking day.

Location and Atmosphere

The mountain lodge is located in the lower Stubaital at a pleasant height, which is still fully characterized by meadows and larch forests. The location is not spectacular, but pleasant: quiet, easily accessible, with a view that frames the valley.

The Stockerhof has the character of a traditional Tyrolean inn – wooden tables, fireplace, the smell of freshly baked cookies. That’s what makes it different from a restaurant in the city.

Cuisine and Offerings

The Stockerhof’s kitchen offers a full range of Tyrolean cuisine: from breakfast platters to midday goulash and evening meals with schnitzel and dumplings. The kitchen is fresh every day and seasonal. Baked goods and homemade cakes are a special offer.

The long opening hours make for true flexibility – hikers who arrive late can still find a warm meal here.

Access / Ascent

Very easy to reach: short walking distance from villages in the lower Stubaital, also with public transportation. Ascent: around 15 to 30 minutes, accessible even for less mobile guests.
