This is not a staged Alpine scene – here, genuine farming is still practised. Cows, goats, and chickens are part of the picture.

The Alpine farm’s veranda offers an open view towards Neustift and down the valley – no full panoramic view, but a pleasantly quiet, sunny observation spot.

The Brandstattalm can be reached from Neustift in the Stubai Valley on a marked hiking trail in about 1.5 to 2 hours, making it suitable for families with older children. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
