The Nature Trail Schlick 2000 is the most family-friendly mountain program in the lower Stubaital valley. With the gondola to nearly 2,000 meters, then on a nearly flat loop trail through the alpine landscape around the mountain station – with information stations about alpine flowers, mountain wildlife, and the alpine ecosystem.
Why the Nature Trail?
Because it connects the mountain world with mediation. Children learn here what a mountain rose differs from an edelweiss, why the marmot stores fat, and how the soil smells at 2,000 meters unlike in the valley. The stations are child-friendly and still carefully designed in terms of content.
The trail is flat – ideal for people who don’t normally do long hikes but appreciate the mountain air and the wide view.
