The Jausenstation Oberkartnall at 1,275 m is one of the simplest and most accessible rest stops in the Stubaital. The concept of a “Jausenstation” is deliberately minimalist: snack, coffee, mountain air - done. No multi-course menu, no reservation requirement, no extensive menu.

Location and Atmosphere

The Jausenstation is located in the lower Stubaital in a quiet, unpretentious location. The terrain is gently sloping and green, the atmosphere relaxed and uncomplicated. Oberkartnall is not a place that gets written about a lot - but a place that people like to return to.

Simplicity is the order of the day: a sun terrace, a few tables, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and Tyrolean bacon. That’s all you need.

Offerings

The offer is deliberately limited: a snack platter with bacon and cheese, fresh bread, coffee and tea, homemade pastries and cakes. Cold drinks. That’s it - and that’s enough.

For children, there are simple snacks and drinks available.

Arrival / Ascent

Very easy ascent from valleys in the lower Stubaital. Ascent time: 15 to 30 minutes, almost barrier-free. Ideal for guests with little hiking experience or young children.
