Oberhausalm

The Oberhausalm at 1,350 m is an uncomplicated day trip destination above Falbeson/Ranalt in the rear Stubaital, with a long season and family-friendly orientation. The comparatively low altitude makes it easily accessible for small children and less experienced hikers.

Location and Atmosphere

The Oberhausalm is located in a green, well-wooded area above Falbeson in the rear Stubaital. The forest and meadows around the hut create a sheltered and cozy atmosphere. This is not a panorama destination on an exposed ridge, but an inviting alpine hut where you feel welcome right away.

The atmosphere is family-friendly and authentic – children can run freely around the farm, observe animals, and experience the farm life.

Cuisine

At the Oberhausalm, you can find classic Tyrolean mountain food: platters with cold cuts, fresh mountain cheese, soups, homemade cakes, and pastries. For children, simple dishes are available. The sun terrace is the best place for a long midday break.

Arrival / Ascension

From the Falbeson car park on a well-marked hiking trail, the ascent takes about 30 to 60 minutes. The terrain is suitable for children from about 3 years old, and part of the way is suitable for off-road-capable strollers.
