Why this tour?
The Franz-Senn Hut is one of the most famous alpine huts in Tyrol – named after the mountaineer-priest and DAV co-founder Franz Senn. Who hikes to the hut is not just going into the mountains. He’s going into alpine history. The Oberbergtal has a landscape quality that’s hard to beat: a wide valley, clear streams, views of three-thousanders, peace and quiet.
The tour is perfect as a short day trip with a break on the hut – or as the first night of a multi-day high-altitude tour.
