Walking time
The hike to the Innsbrucker Hut at 2,369 m is the most challenging pure mountain hut hike in the Stubai Valley – and one of the most rewarding. 1,300 meters of elevation gain through the entire Pinnistal valley, from the valley floor to the high alpine zone, with intermediate stages at the Pinnisalm and the Neue Regensburger Hut. Those who make it to the top are at the highest catered hut in the Stubai Valley, beneath the Serles massif, with a panorama that shows the entire eastern Stubai Valley.
Why this tour?
The Innsbrucker Hut is for everyone who wants to really get to know the Stubai Valley – not from the gondola, not from the car park, but earned with every meter of elevation gain. The ascent through the Pinnistal is at the same time one of the most beautiful valley ascents in Tyrol: quiet, exceptionally scenic, with two rest possibilities along the way.
This tour is no outing for inexperienced hikers. It is a mountain day for people who know what they’re doing.
