Rain advisory · Leichter Regen, 1°C

Walking time
The Langental is the southernmost of the Stubaital side valleys and leads directly into the center of the Stubaier Alps – to glaciers, three-thousanders, and one of the most magnificent mountain landscapes in Tyrol. The hike to Nürnberger Hütte at 2.280 m leads through the entire Langental and ends at one of the largest and most well-known huts in the Stubaier area: a central node of the Stubaier Höhenweg.
Why this Tour?
The Langental has a different quality than the other Stubaital side valleys: wider, wilder, with a view of glacier mountains already on the ascent. The Nürnberger Hütte is the gateway to the Stubaier high mountains – from here, summit tours to the Zuckerhütl (3.507 m), Wilder Freiger, and other three-thousanders start. As a day tour, it is challenging, as a starting point for multi-day tours, it is indispensable.
